Hi Fi Speakers
My five month mission to boldly go where I hadn't gone before!
Fed up with looking at the square boxes in the corner of your room? So was I, so I did a bit of research on speaker cabinets and came up with the designs for these. I wanted to get a good balance of aesthetics and sound and working with an electronics company to make sure the drivers and crossovers complimented the cabinets, I think I achieved it. If you dont like the finishes on either the Voyagers or The Blue Ones, they can be cutomised to suit your taste, any colour, or a range of veeners, you choose but the prices will vary accordingly. A listening demo can be arranged.
Voyager. What can I say?.heavy springs to mind! Weighing in at a hefty 30kilos each these are monumental in both stature and sound. Birds eye maple veneers with solid maple bass port trims. At nearly 4ft tall and 2ft wide at the base you'll need a big space (and strong floorboards) to accommodate these galactic beauties. Utilising "Seas" and "Vifa" drivers, a custom crossover and gold plated connectors the sound output is out of this world!

Wood & Leather. Using reclaimed timbers with a burnt wood finish and luxurious bulls hide leather, these speakers sound as rich and warm as they look. This stage in the creative process for me meant using new drivers and circuitry, "Seas" and "Vifa" drivers with a custom built crossover to suit the cabinet structure combine to make 3 way bi-wired units that will bring your system to life. Forward facing bass ports and gold plated connectors and spikes help to enhance the listening experience and give a depth of sound you can lose yourself in!

The Blue Ones. My first foray into the world of speaker cabinet design. These speakers were designed around the renowned TDL NFM2 drivers, with a unique cabinet shape and suspension system designed to fully isolate the cabinets from the floor. This makes sure that there's no residual effect from "sound boxing" when you place the speakers on a wooden suspended floor (which is what most homes have). Basically the vibrations from the speaker drivers can't travel down the stands and into the floor causing unwanted bass boom, which would adversely affect the quality of the sound output.
